My grandmother is luella Mock-schmitt, the year she passed was April 1985 - I noticed you had the year born only. I really like the web site.

My great grandmother, Sarah Mock was the daughter of Samuel Valentine Mock. My great grandfather, William Buzzell Hodge married Sarah Mock, daughter of Samuel Valentine Mock. William and Sarah had a daughter, Mertie Adelia Hodge who married Harry Dudley Perkins. Mertie and Harry are my grandparents.I would love to hear from my cousins no matter how distant we are.

Hi!I found your web site and was delighted to see my maternal ancestors to be listed. My grandmother was Grace Kathleen Beerworth ( Bierwirth-Beerwort). I have found that over the years the spelling of the name has varied widely. I have some families that use Beerwort and some that use Beerworth. I am amazed at how far back you have been able to take your family 1540, WOW! I am a relative novice and have only managed to around 1760 or so, but I\'m learning. Thank you so much for the information you have provided, and I\'m sure, that is a sentiment many people would offer. THANK YOU! Gary

I own land on which the original grist mill was built by Johannes Mock in 1794. I also have pictures and a lot of documents and ephemera relating to Mock\'s Mills. I would be interested in any information you have regarding the Mock family. I can be contacted at 1-514-592-0137. Thank you.

Hi! I'm Harold Tart Jr.'s daughter. My daughter, Sarah, told me bout this website! Thank-you so much for the family history! And like my sister, Sharon, had inquired: do you know if Mum's mother was a full blooded Indian? What tribe did she belong to? Where in NC do you live now? Where is Michael at? I went to school with him in Willsboro. This is wonderful!!! Nice way to get reconnected!

I was so glad to find all of this info on our heritage. I just had one question in regards to Mum's mother - I have heard that she was a full blooded Indian. Do you know if this is true and if so which tribe she belonged to? Thank you for the many, many hours you have put into this family tree!!!

Hi Harold , I came across your website today and wanted to congratulate you on it. Great job! One minor question , Christina Mock d/o Johannes is listed as having been born in 1762 and recorded in the Schoharie NY Church; however, the family did not arrive until 1767. Must be a typo or the "7" looked like a "2"? Anyhow, once again, good job!

Would you consider allowing Fort Ticonderoga to use the old image of the Ticonderoga for one time to advertise a private tour of the vessel (permission of the Shelburne Museum received)? The tour will be lead by the author of the book: Ticonderoga a Lake Champlain Steamboat, Richard Strum, Director of Education at Fort Ticonderoga. Many thanks for your consideration.

Hi Harold, I stumbled over your site while surfing. I see you are in NC now. Hope you are well. You have progressed back further than my knowledge, I didn't get past Veizhans branch. I am b. 6/23/47 not 6/2747, a minor detail. Where did the family crest originate? Glad to note you are still at it. Art
